The federal government is attempting to get states that have coastlines to get rid of their septic systems to reduce the amount of fecal matter that is getting into the water table. Many Southwest Florida homeowners are being required to abandon their septic systems and hook up to a city or county sewage system.
At Rohaley & Sons, we are licensed to abate your in-ground septic system. To do that, we pump out the tanks, crush them, and fill them with dirt. If for some reason a homeowner puts an addition onto their house, which covers the top of their septic tank, we can pump the tank out and fill it full of what we call flowable fill, which is concrete slurry that will harden and plug up the septic tank. We also offer septic system location services and do system pump-outs.
